About Me and My Career Goals
Ben served 10 years in the Air Force before joining the professional ranks with PADI, teaching scuba in South Eastern Wisconsin. After a few years as an instructor Ben decided to come to the Dive Station and Florida Diving Institute for training as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, as well as CCR Rebreather Instructor. After his training was complete here at the Dive Station an opportunity showed its self and he became a member of our training staff. He hopes to become a Course Director one day but his short term goals are to be come a Full Cave Diver Instructor as well as Tec CCR Op2tima Instructor. He has been a Scuba Service Technician since 2016 working on many brands such as Hollis, Oceanic, Areis, Mares, Dive Rite. Also holding certifications for O2 Cleaning, valve service, Visual Inspector, Eddy current inspector for PSI-PCI as well as Fill station Instructor. Ben is also A DAN(Dive Alert Network) DEMP instrucor, Basic Life Support, Emergancy Oxygen, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, Neurological Assment.
